FAQs

Safety

We would recommend using your fire pit on stone or concrete. You should always use the ashtray provided, this will help catch an ash or charcoal that may fall from your fire pit.

We would recommend leaving your fire pit to cool for several hours to ensure any residue heat has left the metal.
Once the ash has been removed. Our compact fire pits should be cool enough to pack away within 15 minutes. However, if the ash is left in the pit allow over 30 minutes.

We recommend you use the tray to collect any falling ash and to help protect the ground underneath.

Our fire pits can be used with both. If you’re looking to use the fire pit with the grill for a BBQ we would recommend using coal, if you’re looking to use the fire pit without the grill we recommend using wood.

We would recommend lighting your coal at least an hour before you want to start cooking. You’ll know your fire pit is ready to cook on when the flames have died down and you have a bed of glowing embers. These embers will provide a steady source of heat allowing your food to gently cook all the way through.

We would not recommend cooking over flames as this may burn your food on the outside whilst leaving the middle raw.

All our fire pits are collapsible for ease of storage. To keep it in the best condition we would recommend storing it in a cool dry place. You can opt to leave your fire pit in situ in your garden all year round, however it may become weathered with pertina if not regularly cleaned.

To keep your fire pit in the best condition we would recommend leaving it in a cool dry place or covering it to protect it from weathering.

No this is not a problem, Our pits are made from mild steel and stainless steel and will weather over time, developing a rusty patina.

We would recommend cleaning your fire pit with with a wire brush and a spray of WD40.

We would recommend cleaning your grill with warm, soapy water and a damp cloth
